Reflections Contest
The Reflections Program is a nation-wide PTA program that provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts.
2011-12 Reflections Program Theme: "Diversity Means..."
All the forms necessary to participate in the contest can be found here, including the student entry form, the general rules, and the specific rules for each category.
The deadline for submitting the entries into Okte’s main office will be posted soon.
Local judges will choose Okte finalists in each of the six categories. There will be two age groups: K-2 and 3-5 for each category. These entries will then move on to a regional and possible state competition, and may even receive national recognition. The judging is based on evidence of creative original work of one student and must comply with the rules for each category. Students may submit entries in more than one category.
Please encourage your child to participate in this program so that their unique talents can be recognized. While the student must complete their own original entry, adults can support their ideas and encourage their creative expression. Above all, have FUN! All participants will receive recognition for their work and be invited to join in a Reflections celebration later in the school year.
