Poster Contest for 5th Graders

HEY Fifth Graders! Take part in the U.S. Department of Justice’s 42nd Annual National Missing Children's Day Poster Contest and showcase your creativity for an important cause!

CONTEST RULES
  • Who: 5th-grade students! 
  • Prize: Win a trip to Washington, D.C. for you, your parents/guardians, and your teacher!​
  • What:
    • Create a poster demonstrating the theme "Bringing Our Missing Children Home."
    • Poster size must be 8.5 x 14 inches.
    • Include the slogan "Bringing Our Missing Children Home" on the poster.
    • Posters must be hand-drawn by individual students (no printing, collages, or stamping).
    • Submit a completed application with a poster description and artist biography.
  • When:
    • Entries accepted starting: Monday, January 13th
    • Submission deadline: Monday, February 3rd by 4 pm
  • Where: Submit posters (flat) to the Okte office.

AM K: Starts 9:05 am    Dismisses 11:40 am
PM K: Starts 12:40 am  Dismisses 3:15 pm
Breakfast and lunch are served.

Half Day Dismissal Time
Classes dismiss at 12:15 pm

Student Drop-Off and Student Pick-Up Procedures

Okte Parent End of Day/Early Release
​Please notify our Attendance Secretary by calling  at 518-881-0540 if you will be changing the transportation plans for your child.  All pick-up information needs to be communicated before 2 pm daily.
 
Absent or Late: Please notify our Attendance Secretary at 518-881-0540.

​Bus Transportation:  Contact the Okte office for a bus pass.
