Volunteer!
We’d love to have you be a part of the Okte PTA team! It takes volunteers to run every event from kindergarten orientation to 5th Grade Moving Up Day. We have positions for working parents, at home jobs or roles for those that have more time on their hands too! Our promise to you is that the time you give will be worth your while, and it will be fun! We rely on volunteers to keep our organization going—but volunteering provides you with unique opportunities too!

How do I Volunteer? |
You can sign-up to volunteer at any time!
Tell us by filling out out Volunteer Survey or reach out to any member of the Okte PTA Executive Board. You don’t need to be a PTA member but you MUST fill out a Shenendehowa District Volunteer form to participate in-school activities. Please fill out the forms and send them into school with your child. These forms needs to be filled out annually. |
Volunteer Opportunities |
Volunteering is a great way to get involved, meet new people, and support our school.
To see our open volunteer opportunities, visit our program page. We maintain a general list of volunteers whom we contact via email whenever help is needed. We won't hold you to any commitments. By filling out the survey, it gives us a great start when we need people who are interested helping out in certain events or programs. You’ll have a lot of chances to pitch in throughout the year, with varying time commitments, so there’s no pressure. Without volunteers and the donation of their time, to support activities that further enrich our children’s school experience and our community as a whole - would not exist. Whether it’s becoming a committee member, event volunteer or even a member of our PTA Board, the continuous kindness and support of our community is what keeps us ticking.
